Description
My mother was a very good artist and her paintings were exquisite. I, however, was never very good with a brush and I struggled for many years to find a way to express the artistic vision I held in my mind. Then came digital photography and editing....it was just the right vehicle for me. I am very thankful for tools that can help me express the things that were once trapped in my mind. "Silent Night" is an artistic "night render" of a photo I took on an incredible morning in the early fall of 2014 in Hudson, Ohio. This is not a composite, it's simply a detailed Photoshop color and contrast edit to the original image...even the fog is real. I consider this to be an artistic tribute to those moments of pure serenity and peace that we all seek deep within our souls.
